There is a general trend of increased marketization long-term care (LTC) services across Europe, with the natural consequence that market forces will affect supply LTC. At same time, there has been rapid increase in use home-based provision for those requiring LTC support. However, little evidence about what effects growing domiciliary on markets institutional forms care. This important from policy point view terms managing local markets, access to services, quality and inequality.
